I'm sleep deprived
i'm going for my second cup of coffee
and i'm doing some of my best writing
everybody wants to be a fuckin' rockstar
so do i
but my best writing is of the urban feel
the hip-hop variety
so why do i bother writing rock?
i think i should just give up and stick to my roots
and my roots have always been hip-hop
now matter how much slayer i listen to
no matter how many ballads i write
no matter how many sappy love songs i listen to
hip-hop makes me feel good, and it's what i do best
so i'm gunna stop denying it
and just write it
